About Eoin
Born in Ireland, Eoin earned his Bachelor of Music in University College Cork and graduated with a Master’s degree in Ethnomusicology at University of Limerick, specializing in folk and contemporary percussion.
On an artist residency in Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya he matured his unique style, fusing traditional, jazz and hip hop rhythms into contemporary compositions which define his album recordings.
His orchestral suite, Seven Journeys, was recently performed in Cleveland with Irish and American musicians to wide acclaim.
Eoin’s extensive performance career has seen him develop projects in the USA, UAE, South America, Australia, China and Taiwan.
In addition, he has created significant repertoire music dramas for The National Folk Theatre of Ireland, The National Irish Dance Company and the first festival of Irish Music in Dubai.
He lives and works in Cleveland, Ohio.
